Doesn't Take Much Room
Because the encoder uses H.264 compression and requires very low bandwidth, it's extremely efficient when encoding full HD video and analog audio for transmission.
What makes the VS-2000-ENC so versatile is that it can be used to transmit video point-to-point or to an unlimited number of decoders using standard multicast technology. The video stream can be received by the VS-2000 Decoder, third party devices, software, or sent over the internet.
Plays Well with Others
The VS-2000-ENC integrates with any equipment using standard H.264 encoding. You can use it with the VS-2000 Decoder, third party devices, software, or sent over the internet. It also integrates well with a number of Black Box products, such as:
iCOMPEL™ Digital Signage. Use the VS-2000-ENC to encode a TV signal and display the video stream in a zone on multiple iCOMPEL units.
Digital Signage Distribution. You can use the VS-2000-ENC to encode video from any digital signage player and distribute it out to a large number of screens. The signals can even be transmitted over Wi-Fi® and the internet.
Radian™ Video Wall Processor. You can use the VS-2000-ENC to encode a remote computer signals and display it on one or more video walls. Or you can transmit it over the internet for display on a remote command center video wall.
Remote Video Sharing. Use the VS-2000-ENC to encode a video signal and monitor it from a remote command and control center using the VS-2000-DEC decoder, or any H.264-compatible software decoder.
Easy to Use and Power
You can control the encoder via a web GUI or Telnet API. And the encoder is easy to power. It can also be PoE powered from the network switch eliminating any worries about nearby power outlets. |
