Fixed & Adjustable Regulators - Positive Single Output Standard

Fixed and adjustable regulators are electronic components that provide a stable DC voltage output by regulating an input voltage. They are commonly used in electronic circuits to ensure that the voltage supplied to sensitive components remains within a specified range.

Fixed regulators have a predetermined output voltage that cannot be adjusted. They are easy to use and have a low cost, making them a popular choice in many applications. Adjustable regulators, on the other hand, allow the output voltage to be adjusted using an external resistor. This makes them more versatile, as they can be adjusted to meet the specific requirements of different applications.

Positive regulators provide a positive DC voltage output, while negative regulators provide a negative DC voltage output. LDO (low dropout) regulators are designed to work with small input-output voltage differentials and provide a stable output voltage even when the input voltage drops below the output voltage. Standard regulators, on the other hand, are designed to regulate a wide range of input voltage.
